Computer network
device there are so many but I will explain some of the constituent devices
of the computer network and explain its function.
1. The Router
Routers generally function
as direct some packet data/information to another network and
the router sends packets of data/information is to use the best
routes/roads best in transfer data. Commonly router to
function as well as the Division of logical network. In
addition many functions such as routers to the
network because a maintenance commonly a large network using a
router as a tool of control.the router can be used to divide the
network, create a login page for internet connection,
share internet bandwidth, make security for our network,
and others .

2. Switch
The switch in
general serve as the senders and recipients of a package of
data/information/internet package from the server computer to
the client computer.in shipping packages the data/information check will switch the
sender's address and check also
the recipient address, and that address the form of mac
address after sender and recipient address are met then the switch will
match / check one by one address that matches the
address of the recipient so a little long to get to
the goal of having to check one by one is
different with the router, the router will immediately know the
addresses of the sender and the recipient and will instantly send
you a package of data/information to the intended address without checking one
by one. the switch I have is the plung-play so once plug can
be used directly without the need for configuration.

3. the Access
Point
In a general sense is
the Access Point as tranciever / receiver (sender/receiver) packet
data / internet using wireless networking to computer clients.
There are several functions
of the Wireless Access Point that is
1. Set the Access
Point to be used for the DHCP Server
2. Set the Security wired
equivalent privacy (WEP) and WI-FI protected access (WPA)
3. Set up anyone
who can access the network on the basis of mac-address filtering
4. As a
HUB/SWITCH connecting local network acting (cable) and wireless
network

4. Cable UTP
Cable utp (unshielded twisted
pair) cable is a made from a copper conductor,
had insulation of plastic. utp cable has four pairs of wires
or cable that has 8 different colors. i.e. orange white, orange,
green, white, blue, blue, white, green,
Brown, white, Brown. utp cable there are many categories ranging from category 1
to category 7.each category is only different in the
speed of data transmission, such as got me i.e.UTP CAT-5e that
have data transfer speeds of up to 100Mbps.
5. Cable Tester
Cable tester is
a device to test a utp cable if the cable utp installations are
correct or wrong, when there are wrong then the utp cable cannot
be used to transfer the data/information. in utp wiring there
are two types of installation that is CROSS and STRAIGHT. For cabling utp type straight color
code/color sequence is: orange white,orange, green, white, blue,
blue, white, green, white chocolate, chocolate on the first pin to pin a
second cable installation sequence is the same as in the
first pin. as for the type of cross is orange,
green, white, blue, blue, white, green, white, chocolate brown pin in
the first and second is to pin: green white, green white,
blue, orange, blue, white, orange, Brown, white, Brown.
